Preliminary Covid Testing plan
- Testing before in person school for all students & teachers funded by WEF - Then testing teachers once each week and approximately 1/3 of students each week (frequency unsure)
Return Schedule
- Week of 8/31 teachers meetings in person (or home) - Week of 9/7 teachers meetings in person - Week of 9/14 teacher check-in with students & community building. 9/16 is 1st day of school for all students - remote only. - Week of 9/21 - remote learning, baseline Covid testing, tent inspections - Week of 9/28 - Yom Kippur off (9/28), then 10/1 and 10/2 students in person in cohorts A & B
Sports - 9/18 - Fall 1 moderate risk sports but will include modification to how they are played - Winter season - 2/22- 4/25 - Fall 2 season with higher risk sports - Local teams will play each other to reduce risk
The Remote Learning School has about 500 students signed up and will have it's own principal and set of teachers.
Merv filters 13 for all buildings.
The remote learning days of the hybrid model will include some remote work as well as a lot of zoom to the in person alternate cohort and teacher.
